This book was written in 1974 for the Naval Institute Press. As such it is detailed and authoritative, and gives you a good grasp of what all the different protagonists were doing and thinking. The style is a bit stiff, but the extraordinary events overcome this, and make the book essential reading. Lots of good B/W photo’s.
